Frame century-old City Market  is a street photography walk at the historic K.R. Market — named after Mysore King Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV — in Bangalore. Also, known as City Market, it is one of the city’s oldest and most vibrant bazaars. Just about everything reaches its peak in the early hours before sunrise — right when the first edition of the daily newspapers is being distributed across the city. You’ll witness this electrifying pace firsthand during our walk as the market peaks in activity through the early morning, slows down during the day, and picks up pace again by late evening. 

This experiential session offers the chance to observe and capture raw street life and people — from the early morning buzz of traders, retailers, metal wholesalers to the colorful chaos of the beautiful flower market. You’ll engage with the market’s visual intensity — its pulse, pace, and stories — through the lens, guided by your photography lead - both prior to the walk and on-the-field during the walk.
