The ideal starting point is Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, right in front of the Vidhana Soudha and Attara Kacheri (High Court). From here, you can seamlessly transition from breathtaking colonial-era and post-independence heritage structures into the lush greenery of Cubbon Park, eventually exiting toward your final food stop. The Suggested Walking Route1. The Starting Point: Heritage Civic HubBegin your walk on Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi. Marvel at the sprawling, neo-Dravidian architecture of the Vidhana Soudha (the seat of the state legislature) and the striking red-brick Gothic style of the Attara Kacheri (the High Court) located right across the road.2. Walking into Cubbon ParkEnter Cubbon Park through the main gates near the High Court. As you walk the shaded pathways, you can explore several historic landmarks in the vicinity, including:The State Central Library (Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall), famous for its red exterior and rose garden. The Sir Mark Cubbon Statue and the Queen Victoria Statue. The Government Museum and Venkatappa Art Gallery (located on the Kasturba Road end of the park).3. Exiting toward the MG Road IntersectionFrom the museum area, make your way southeast toward the outer boundary of the park to exit onto Kasturba Road. Follow Kasturba Road eastward, which will naturally lead you straight to the MG Road-Trinity Circle intersection. This takes you through the edges of the city's central business district.4. The Final Stretch to Airlines HotelFrom the MG Road intersection, head towards Lavelle Road (or link over via St. Mark's Road). Airlines Hotel is located just off Lavelle Road on 177, 1st Cross, which is a very easy and pleasant 5 to 10-minute walk from the main MG Road junction. It is the perfect spot to end your walk with a classic South Indian filter coffee and an open dosa.Total Distance: Roughly 3 to 4 km depending on how many detours you take within the park itself. It is a highly walkable route, best done early in the morning or late in the afternoon to enjoy the tree-lined avenues of Bengaluru.
